Sleepy Evan

It's 10:25 p.m. Evan just came out of his room and was giving Daddy big loves because he hasn't seen him since this morning. Of course, Evan then drops the bomb that he wants to sleep in "Daddy's bed". We knew this was coming. Michael said something about him needing to sleep in his own bed. Evan responded (and I will type it as spoken) so cutely, 'Sleep in Daddy's bed touple minutes. Then you take me to mine bed. Please. It's great idea.' Okay, there's no saying "no" to that cuteness! The master manipulator gets his way again - and we love it!

My Family!

Well, this was actually supposed to be a posting about my shaggy boys (Michael & Evan), turned into handsome devils. However, it seems I may have deleted the shaggy guy pictures that I took at the hair cutting place today. Ugh. Sleep deprivation will do it to you every time! Anyway, they both went to Kids Castle Cuts and got their hair cut at the same time today. Michael thought it was pretty cool (even though he was the only adult I've EVER seen getting hair cut there! :0) but Evan didn't seem to care. So the above picture shows them all nice and clean cut. I love it! Below is Evan and Maren yesterday. The really sweet, snuggly picture of them together was all blurry. Figures.

The Other Mouse

What was I thinking last night?!?! We have an updated picture of Maren. Yeah, the only thing is that it's a sketch from Chuck E. Cheese! Ha! It seems like that mouse has seen us more than some family members lately. Silly as it is, I thought I'd scan these in for show until I can get something really cute taken of the kids. Busy day tomorrow...I'm hitting the hay.

Inaugural Post!

If you know me, you know that I hate to bend to peer pressure to do the cool new thing. It seems like I hold out as long as I can until I just can't hold out any longer. Take scrapbooking, for example. I worked at Provo Craft for about a year...surrounded by the best in scrapbooking supplies. Some of the best scrapbookers anywhere. I even got free samples. BUT, it was definitely the cool thing to do so I decided I would not scrapbook. Well, I finally broke, started scrapbooking, and, of course, fell in love with it.

Same, here, with the Blog. You know what changed my mind? The second child syndrome. By the time Evan was 7 weeks old, like Maren is now, we had about 500 pictures of him. As for poor Maren, we might have a dozen. The last one taken of her was on January 30th. Seriously sad state of affairs. I figured that if I had somewhere where people might go looking for updated pictures of my oh-so-cute children (I know I check my friends' blogs at least once a day...just to see any cute pictures, hear what people are doing that is fun around town, etc.), then I would have to start taking more pictures and Maren's life will, too, get documented. So, here it is. Being that it is midnight now, I have not taken any pictures yet, and Maren will be getting up to eat in a couple short hours, I'm going to bed. Look for more cool Bybee pictures and news to come!
